Delta Chat - der sichere Messenger auf E-Mail-Basis

Hallo liebe Hightech Androiden. In diesem
Video möchte ich euch einen ganz besonderen

Messenger genauer vorstellen. Und zwar ist das
Delta Chat, von dem ihr vielleicht bisher noch

nie etwas gehört habt. Delta Chat unterscheidet
sich dabei grundsätzlich von anderen Messengern,

die ihr bisher möglicherweise kennt und auch schon
nutzt, wie z.B. Signal, Telegram oder Matrix.

Denn Delta Chat verwendet das klassische
E-Mail-Protokoll. Es nutzt also E-Mails,

schickt E-Mails hin und her, um Chatnachrichten
auszutauschen. Ich habe mir auch erst gedacht,

wie soll das funktionieren? E-Mails sind doch viel
zu lahm. Aber es funktioniert tatsächlich wirklich

sehr sehr gut und der Vorteil ist, wenn du E-Mails
verwendest, dann können auch Standardtechnologien

wie z.B. GPG für die Verschlüsselung zum Einsatz
kommen. Und GPG ist eine Verschlüsselungsmethode,

die schon jahrelang erprobt ist und wirklich das
Sicherste ist, was du einsetzen kannst. Mit Delta

Chat hast du daher aus meiner Sicht einen der
sichersten, wenn nicht den sichersten Messenger,

den du überhaupt verwenden kannst. Doch
bevor ich hier Delta Chat genauer vorstelle,

möchte ich dir noch ganz kurz ein paar Neuigkeiten
zu meiner Linux Distribution SpaceFun mitteilen.

Window Manager IceWM daher. Sie ist ausgestattet

mit ganz ganz vielen tollen Freien Open-Source
spielen und Shareware-Klassikern, die du

vielleicht schon kennst, wie z.B. Quake, aber auch
Descent. Ich zeige dir das gleich aber genau noch

mal im Detail. Jetzt geht es aber um den Messenger
Delta Chat und den möchten wir uns jetzt auch mal

genau anschauen. Dazu gehen wir hier auf die
Webseite des Projektes, die heißt delta.chat

und klicken dort auf den Punkt 'Herunterladen'.
Hier wird als Nächstes hier schon direkt mein

Betriebssystem erkannt, GNU/Linux. Das ist
also richtig. Wir verwenden hier Linux, aktuell

SpaceFun in der LXQt-Variante. Und hier kann ich
dann auch schon die Installation ausführen. Hier

wird mir standmäßig empfohlen, die Installation
über sogenannte Flatpaks durchzuführen. Das kann

ich hier auch mal genauer anschauen. Flatpaks
haben den Vorteil, dass du sie ganz schnell

aktualisieren kannst und dort immer die neueste
Version findest. Dazu klicke ich hier auf den

'Install'-Button und kann hier sagen 'Install' und
sage aber 'Manual Install'. Als allererstes müssen

wir aber mal die 'Setup Instructions' befolgen,
falls das noch nicht geschehen ist. Dazu klicke

ich hier auf Debian, denn SpaceFun basiert
auf Debian. Falls du eine andere Distribution

verwendest, kannst du die natürlich hier auch
auswählen. Als allererstes würde ich hier mal

Flatpak installiert werden. Installiert ist es
aber bei meiner Linux-Distribution standardmäßig

schon. Du musst also nur noch dieses Flatpak
Repository, Flathub Repository, hinzufügen. Und

wie das genau geht, das wird hier aufgelistet.
Diesen Befehl kopiere ich mir mal und füge ihn

hier ein. Ich passe ihn aber noch etwas an. Und
zwar füge ich hier eine weitere Option, hier nach

'remote- add' hinzu, und zwar die Option '--user'.
Die stellt sicher, dass all meine Flatpaks nur

in meinem Home-Verzeichnis installiert werden
und nicht über das ganze Dateisystem verteilt

herumliegen. Da habe ich den Vorteil, dass ich
so einfach mein Home-Verzeichnis sichern kann

und dann auch meine ganzen Flatpaks automatisch
schon mitgesichert sind. Das hat er jetzt hier

sang- und klanglos gemacht und ich kann dann
sofort auch schon mit der Installation beginnen.

Dazu gehe ich hier wieder zurück auf 'Install
Delta Chat' und führe dann hier diesen Befehl

'flatpak install flathub chat.delta.desktop' aus.
Das mache ich jetzt hier im Terminal. Das haben

wir jetzt gemacht. Jetzt füge ich den anderen ein.
'flatpak install', aus dem Flathub-Repository und

dann das Paket 'chat.delta.desktop'. Hier findet
er schon das Delta Chat-Paket und ich kann das

jetzt einfach mit 'Y' bestätigen. Und dann wird
im Hintergrund schon ganz schnell Delta Chat

installiert. Wenn du jetzt Flatpak das erste Mal
auf deinem System aktiviert hast, kann es sein,

dass du dich einmal ab- und wieder anmelden
musst, bis das neu installierte Programm auch

in deinem Startmenü oder in deinem Starter,
in deinem Launcher, überhaupt erst erscheint.

Also darauf musst du einfach achten. Ich habe
mich also jetzt einmal wieder neu angemeldet

und finde dann hier unten im Menü auch schon
die Anwendung Delta Chat. Da ist sie schon und

ich kann sie einfach mal starten. Als allererstes
könnte ich jetzt hier ein neues Profil erstellen.

Dazu klicke ich hier auf den Punkt 'Neues Profil
erstellen' und gebe dann hier meinen Namen an.

Das wäre jetzt hier Lioh. Ich kann jetzt hier
'Einverstanden' und 'Profil erstellen' klicken

und dann hast du schon direkt ein Konto. Denn du
kannst standardmäßig ein Konto hier auf diesen

Fall machen wir das auch erstmal. Jetzt macht er

Delta Chat standardmäßig aktiv. Wenn ich jetzt

will, dann muss ich nur noch hier diesen QR-Code

Datei 'Dokumente / QR.txt' und da speichere ich

Einstellungen / rechte Maustaste auf deinen

'Chats und Medien'. Dort klickst du einmal drauf

wichtiger Punkt. Hier unten im unteren Bereich

Das empfehle ich dir auf jeden Fall mal zu machen,

denn damit sicherst du dein gesamtes Konto.
Du wählst hier am besten einen Ordner aus,

ich speichere das hier im Bereich Dokumente
ab, und schon wird das Backup exportiert. Das

solltest du auch regelmäßig noch mal tun. Dieses
Backup kannst du auch auf anderen Geräten einfach

wieder importieren. Dazu musst du es natürlich
sicher übertragen, denn das Backup selbst ist

Diese Backupdatei ist nicht verschlüsselt. Du

E-Mail, ein sicheres Verschlüsselungsprotokoll wie

Hier unten den Punkt 'Erweitert'. Und dort

beiden Sachen, also eigentlich sind es drei,

Projekt stellt auch Pakete für unterschiedliche

jetzt mal hier und die landet dann nachher direkt

fertig ist. Und die kann ich dann ganz einfach

das wirklich gut. Also mit GMX z.B. geht es

damit funktioniert das ganz normal. Ich sage hier

und hier ist es wichtig, dein Filter, der muss

muss ich mal gucken, denn alle E-Mails, das habe

hier so ein spezielles Header-Element, also im

Nachrichtenkopf. Den kann ich mir hier einblenden
lassen 'Ansicht' und dann kann ich hier z.B. 'Alle

heißt das z.B. zum Teil auch. Und dann wird

hier der gesamte Nachrichtenkopf hier wirklich
angezeigt. Und dann gibt es hier ein Headerfeld

das heißt 'chatversion'. Das kopiere ich
mir jetzt mal oder ich merke es mir einfach

'chatversion' und kann dann hier meinem Filter,
den ich ja hier hatte bearbeiten. Der Header

'1', weil der war ja hier wenn, wir gesehen haben,

ist, musst du den Filter natürlich entsprechend

allerdings noch mal. Dazu gebe ich wieder

ich sage jetzt wieder Test 2. 'Ok' und diese

sein. Ja, da ist sie auch schon. Die ist jetzt
